Introducing Art Music to the Very Young Child
Even the youngest child can love listening to art music! We have a plethora of great music connected with timeless stories at our fingertips and can easily nurture the art of listening from the earliest of ages. The following books/CD's can be purchased and checked out to students from your studio or ascertained by families from the local public library. These are just a few of the fantastic titles that await young children. Be sure to listen to the stories/music yourself so you can direct their listening and ask pertinent questions afterward! These stories and selections will find their way back into your conversations with students for years to come as you reference composers, instruments, and various elements of music in general and in specific regarding their ever-expanding repertoire.
