2020 CSMTA Rising Stars: CANCELED

Dear CSMTA member teachers,
Out of an abundance of caution, and to stand in solidarity with the decisions made by leadership across our state and country, we are canceling the 2020 Rising Stars Festival. The other factor that impacted our decision is that the University of Denver Lamont School of Music has canceled all events through the end of April. We do not take this decision lightly, and express our sincere regrets to the students, teachers, and families affected by this decision and the safety measures required for the situation we are living through right now.
Teachers who have registered students can expect their refund in 3-4 weeks. If you don’t receive a refund in a month, please let Rising Stars chair Harumi Shiraishi know (etude42day@gmail.com)

At this point, options for STA are being evaluated. The final decision will be taken on April 4th.
